Chesapeake Pre-K Teacher

The child care teacher implements curriculum, designs daily lesson plans, and supervises children across various settings including classrooms and field trips. Responsibilities also include making ongoing observations and evaluations of each child and maintaining positive relationships with parents through conferences.

Candidates should ideally possess a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a related field, or a cda, or 24 hours of early childcare courses, along with at least six months of supervised programmatic experience. Mandatory requirements within 30 days of hire include cpr, first aid, dho, and virginia pre-Service training certifications, alongside a negative tb test and satisfactory background checks.
