Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills and manage interfering behaviors to help children reach their potential.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, possess patience and compassion, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Minimum requirements include being 18 or older, having a high school diploma or ged, and the ability to pass physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds, with the registered behavior technician certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
