Assistant Chess Instructor - Spring

The assistant instructor will support the lead instructor in managing fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students by setting up activities, providing one-On-One support, and reinforcing positive behavior according to the structured curriculum. Responsibilities also include traveling to various school sites, following safety protocols, and engaging students confidently.

Candidates must have a genuine interest in working with elementary students, a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts clearly, and reliable personal transportation to travel between school locations. Availability on weekday mornings or afternoons for 1 to 5 classes per week is mandatory, along with a professional, positive demeanor and commitment to safety policies.
