Classroom Assistant (Powder Mill Campus, Beltsville)

The classroom assistant supports students with disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans and individualized education plans in a classroom setting. They assist teachers with instruction, collect data, and provide basic medical and daily living support to students.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with an associate's degree in education or a related field preferred. Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred, and the candidate must be willing to obtain required behavioral training certifications.
