Special Education Teacher - Elementary (The Hope Academy)

The teacher is responsible for creating an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment, teaching core subjects using adopted curricula, and developing diverse lesson plans and instructional materials. Essential functions also include administering diagnostic assessments, collaborating with therapists, developing ieps, and maintaining progress records.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and valid special education teacher certification from ride, or the ability to obtain one. The role requires the ability to move continuously throughout the school environment and utilize computers and office equipment for approximately 20% of the time.
