- Type: Full-Time Main Line Health is seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join the core teaching team at Bryn Mawr Hospital Family Medine Residency Program, one of the health system’s oldest and most respected residency programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to split time between outpatient clinical practice at Family Medicine Wynnewood and resident precepting and academic engagement at Bryn Mawr Family Practice, within a well-established, community-based training program. Position Highlights Core Family Medicine faculty role within a well‑established, community‑based residency program at Bryn Mawr Hospital Balanced combination of resident precepting, faculty responsibilities, and outpatient family medicine practice within the Main Line Health system Outpatient‑focused clinical practice based at the Family Medicine Wynnewood location, complemented by teaching and academic engagement at Bryn Mawr Family Practice
- Active involvement in all aspects of resident education, including: Mentoring and evaluation Career guidance and wellness support Didactic teaching (lectures and workshops) Supervision of resident scholarly activity Opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, with a particular emphasis on enhancing procedural training Additional responsibilities may include select administrative duties and newborn nursery coverage
- Eligible for academic appointments at: Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) with institutional support for the application process Collaborative teaching environment with 11 core faculty, a broad network of specialists, and 21 residents across a three‑year training program Access to robust faculty development resources through Main Line Health’s Graduate Medical Education programs This is an excellent opportunity for a physician educator who is passionate about clinical practice, resident development, and advancing the mission of family medicine education in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified in Family Medicine Valid Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility) DEA license and ACLS certification Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred Demonstrated interest in medical education, curriculum development, and scholarly activity strongly encouraged About Us Main Line Health (MLH) is a not-for-profit health system serving Philadelphia and its western suburbs.
