Special Education Teacher

The teacher will evaluate, monitor, and track the child's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and must test and evaluate abilities to determine realistic goals. Responsibilities also include timely recording of evaluation and progress information using the electronic medical record system and maintaining confidentiality of records.

Candidates must possess current new york state licensure and/Or certification in special education, preferably holding a master's degree. Required qualifications include knowledge of ms word, comfort with computer systems, a valid driver's license, early childhood experience, and nys teaching certification in b-2nd grade students with disabilities or permanent special education certification.
