Assistant Professor of Spanish

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate spanish courses ranging from elementary language instruction to upper-Level literature and culture, focusing on developing students' communicative proficiency and intercultural competence. Responsibilities also include academic mentoring, curriculum collaboration, departmental service, and engaging in ongoing scholarship.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in spanish or a closely related field, native or near-Native fluency in spanish, and demonstrated ability or potential for effective, student-Centered instruction across multiple proficiency levels. Preferred qualifications include a terminal degree (Ph.d.) and previous college teaching experience.
