Core responsibilities

The summer instructor will lead hands-On design and outdoor activities, facilitating galileo’s project-Based curriculum integrating stem concepts for groups of up to 28 campers. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe learning space, teaching up to three unique rotations, and engaging fully in all camp traditions and activities.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have at least one year of instructional or classroom support experience in k-8 education, or equivalent experience, and must be able to supervise, mentor, and care for children. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by may 1st, 2026, and commit to the full duration of the camp (4-8 continuous weeks).
