Camp counselor

Camp counselors are primarily responsible for leading age-Appropriate activities for summer camps while ensuring the well-Being, health, and safety of all campers under their supervision. This includes fostering a positive camp culture, managing behavior, and adhering to all ymca practices and procedures.

Candidates must have completed at least one year of high school attendance and possess current cpr, first aid, and child abuse training certifications, though the latter three can be obtained through the ymca. A satisfactory background check is required to be eligible to work with children.
