Practicum Volunteer

The volunteer will provide short and long-Term counseling services for couples, families, and children addressing various diagnostic issues, while also participating as a group facilitator and conducting assessments. Key duties involve strictly adhering to agency requirements, maintaining detailed case notes, and ensuring all client interactions are conducted under appropriate supervision.

Candidates must be enrolled in a master’s program accredited for clinical licensure and have necessary coursework approval for practicum fieldwork from their school. Essential qualifications include the ability to learn from supervision, perform effective casework, maintain accurate clinical notes, recognize crises, and comply with all board of behavioral science regulations and ethical guidelines.
