Job description

Sunflower Development Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. This position is available as either full-time or part-time. Sunflower Development Center provides high-quality, play-based services to children with developmental differences including autism, sensory processing challenges, and other developmental delays. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and family-centered care to help children build meaningful skills that improve their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional skill development Address areas such as sensory regulation, fine motor skills, visual motor integration, self-care skills, and motor planning Collaborate with BCBAs, behavior technicians, and families to support whole-child development Provide caregiver education and strategies to support progress across environments Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and insurance requirements

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license Experience working with children preferred Strong understanding of sensory processing and developmental approaches to therapy Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be able to successfully pass a background check and meet all applicable state and regulatory requirements for working with children
