Nursing, Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment to help students achieve their goals, providing effective instruction, and conducting assessments based on provided common syllabi. Major duties include meeting all scheduled classes, maintaining records, using appropriate technology, and being available to students outside of scheduled class time.

For practical nursing faculty, a bachelor's degree in nursing (Bsn) is required, with a master's preferred, along with an unencumbered rn license and two years of direct patient care experience. Other nursing programs require a bsn minimum (Or enrollment in a graduate program) and an indiana rn license with at least two years of direct patient care experience as an rn.
