Elementary School Counselor (San Francisco)

This role involves providing direct, student-Centered behavioral and social-Emotional support to elementary students, implementing targeted interventions, and mediating conflicts using restorative practices. The specialist will collaborate closely with faculty, counselors, and families to promote positive behavior and an inclusive school culture.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably with coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work, alongside a minimum of two years of experience supporting the social-Emotional and behavioral needs of children, ideally in an independent school setting. Training in behavioral intervention or sel approaches is necessary, and bilingual proficiency in italian or spanish is a plus.
