Learning Specialist (Grades 4 - 8)

The specialist will work with students in grades 4-8 individually or in small groups to address learning differences impacting achievement in reading, math, and writing, developing alternate learning aids and strategies. Key duties include creating and maintaining student success plans, serving as a liaison between parents and external providers, and collaborating closely with teachers and leadership to implement support.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a related field (Special education, school psychology, etc.) and hold certification in educational therapy, special education, or equivalent advanced training, along with 4–7 years of relevant experience. Fluency in both spanish and english is required, and knowledge of structured literacy programs like orton-Gillingham is preferred.
