Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards
Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.
Candidates must possess current Red Cross Lifeguard certification along with Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant, and swimmer. Previous swim instruction experience is mandatory, and applicants must successfully complete all American Red Cross lifeguarding prerequisites.
