Core responsibilities

The waterfront specialist plans and delivers quality waterfront programs under the direction of the waterfront director, while also supporting general camp operations and assisting with unit programming when not at the waterfront. This role involves 24-Hour camper care and supervision, adherence to safety standards, and assisting with various camp duties including housekeeping and kitchen support as needed.

Requirements summary

All applicants must pass a criminal background check and obtain certifications including red cross first aid & cpr, and a utah food handlers’ permit, completing youth protection training upon employment. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with and supervise campers aged 6-17, follow safety guidelines, manage behavior, and respond to crises, while also meeting physical demands like lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors at high elevation.
