Fifth Grade (2026-2027 School Year)

The primary function is to teach and facilitate learning for fifth-Grade students, maintaining academic progress, discipline, and records while implementing classroom education to meet diverse student needs. This involves providing direct instruction, creating effective lesson plans, assigning and correcting homework, and administering assessments to evaluate progress.

Candidates must possess a valid kansas teaching license in elementary education (K-9 or k-6 unified) and a bachelor's degree, with classroom teaching experience being preferred. Essential abilities include strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with knowledge of current teaching methods and applicable federal/State education laws.
