- Location: Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School, Cambridge, Ma. Overview We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based therapy services on a contractual basis for elementary students. Sessions are scheduled per student, supporting mobility, participation, and access to educational activities in alignment with IEP goals.
Responsibilities
Provide direct or consultative physical therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, occupational therapists, and families. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and session notes according to Massachusetts regulations.
Qualifications
Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required. Experience with pediatric populations or school-based therapy preferred. Knowledge of the IEP process and educational documentation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Work Conditions Contractual position currently providing 30 minutes of weekly physical therapy for one student.
