Graduate Nurse - Med Surg

The graduate nurse actively participates in the new graduate nurse residency program, providing age-Appropriate care to patients with various medical conditions under the direction of an rn preceptor. Responsibilities include performing delegated nursing tasks, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and developing patient/Family education plans.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as determined by the state board of nursing, with less than one year of rn experience required. Essential requirements include obtaining basic life support (Bls) certification and passing the nclex within specified timeframes depending on the state of work.
