Core responsibilities
As a summer camp counselor, the core responsibility is to be the main presence for campers, guiding them through an impactful, safe, and engaging summer experience while fostering a supportive environment for their assigned group all week. This includes leading and supervising groups of 15+ campers weekly, collaborating with instructors on project-Based curriculum delivery, and engaging in all camp activities like songs and ceremonies.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have experience supervising groups of 10+ children and at least one year of related experience in fields like summer camp, childcare, or coaching, while being available for 8-Hour shifts monday through friday for a minimum of four continuous weeks. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by may 1st, 2026, and capable of completing all pre-Camp requirements including background checks and online training.
