- The ideal candidate should be a positive role model promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth in a Christ-centered environment.Job Responsibilities · Plan and conduct practices that develop skills, physical fitness, and teamwork · Supervise and manage student-athletes during practices, games, and travel · Teach and reinforce good sportsmanship, respect, and Catholic values on and off the field · Collaborate with the Athletic Director, other coaches, and school staff to ensure a positive athletic experience · Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and team needs · Maintain equipment and ensure student safety at all times · Follow school and league policies and diocesan guidelines, including Safe Environment protocols · Model Christian behavior and promote the mission of Catholic education through leadershipJob Requirements · Prior coaching or playing experience in the sport is preferred · Knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport · Practicing Catholic preferred; must support the values and teachings of the Catholic Church · Ability to lead with integrity, fairness, and compassion · Must complete all required diocesan Safe Environment training and background checks · First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)The Archdiocese of St.
