The primary purpose of this faculty member is to provide effective and high-Quality instruction and assessment for the paramedic program, including lecturing courses like pharmacology, cardiology, and trauma emergencies, while continually refining and modernizing curriculum. Additionally, the faculty member is responsible for professional development, service to the college, collaborating on curriculum oversight, and supporting part-Time faculty.

Requirements summary

Minimum requirements include an associate's degree in a related healthcare field plus five years of emergency medical experience, or an associate's degree plus paramedic certification and 10,000 hours of related experience, along with current paramedic registration/Certification (Colorado certification required within six months). Candidates must also possess current cpr/Acls/Pals certifications, a valid driver's license, and documented experience or coursework in teaching adults.
