Teacher Level 2

The teacher will consult on developing and executing daily educational classroom activities according to head start standards to meet individual child needs, while planning and maintaining a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom environment with the assistant teacher. Responsibilities also include maintaining required documentation, conducting home visits and parent conferences, and ensuring mandated staff/Child ratios are met.

Candidates need an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or a bachelor's/Master's in elementary education with at least 9 credits in early childhood education. A minimum of two years of experience working with children aged 6 weeks through 5 years is required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and necessary health clearances.
