PreK Teacher, Level 1

The teacher is responsible for planning and maintaining a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom environment in collaboration with the assistant teacher, while interacting with children throughout the day. Key duties include completing child work sampling data, preparing required reports, conducting home visits and parent-Teacher conferences, and implementing individual child planning activities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's or advanced degree in early childhood education, child development, child and family development studies, or special education, along with two years of experience working with children aged 6 weeks through 5 years. Required qualifications include a pa state ece certification, strong communication skills, and current physical exam, tuberculosis screening, and necessary clearances.
