Core responsibilities
The teacher assistant oversees daily routines, provides supervision during living activities, and assists licensed teachers with material preparation and academic evaluations for youth in residential programs. This role also involves providing tutoring, behavioral support, participating in experiential learning, and completing necessary daily documentation.
Requirements summary
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or ged and have required experience working in a school setting, with preferred experience working with school-Aged students and those with severe emotional/Behavioral needs. Candidates must also be able to meet physical demands, possess a valid driver's license, and complete cpi and cpr training.
