Substitute Paraprofessional

The substitute paraprofessional assists teachers in implementing educational programs and student activities, maintaining open communication and reinforcing instruction in various settings. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness, ensuring student safety, and encouraging positive behavior and independence.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably have prior experience working with children in a learning environment. Successful applicants require an approved criminal history review from the nj dept. Of ed. And the physical ability to lift and position students, sometimes weighing up to 70 pounds alone.
