Core responsibilities
As a registered nurse, the role involves overseeing patient care using a professional practice model, which includes conducting detailed clinical assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and evaluating care plans, and building therapeutic relationships with patients and families. The nurse will also be responsible for educating patients, families, and community members, delegating tasks carefully, and utilizing various problem-Solving strategies while prioritizing safety and effectiveness.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited program in nursing, possess a current and valid nursing license, and ideally have 18 months of nursing experience (A minimum of 12 months required at the time of application), with a bsn preferred. A current bls certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of starting the role.
