YMCA Alexandria - F/T Teacher

The teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans and all classroom activities to meet the child’s social, physical, emotional, and mental growth within a developmental framework. Key tasks include developing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, maintaining child safety, and effectively communicating with parents.

Candidates must possess 15 credit hours or a 90-Hour certificate or cda, and must obtain a cda within 18 months if not already held. A minimum of one year of teaching experience in a licensed center, high school diploma or ged, and being at least 20 years old are mandatory requirements.
