After School / Day Camp Counselor

Day camp counselors must provide constant supervision and guidance to ensure a quality and safe program, fostering an environment for children to develop skills and friendships through age-Appropriate activities. They are responsible for supervising a group to ensure a positive experience while implementing scheduled activities aligned with ymca values.

Candidates should preferably have two years of experience working with children and possess skills or certifications in teaching various camp activities like crafts, songs, and sports. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, sensitivity for diverse backgrounds, and sufficient physical ability to perform essential functions in various settings.
