Child Rehabilitation Counselor

Key responsibilities include implementing on-Site and off-Site rehabilitation activities, conducting intake meetings, and developing or implementing individual rehabilitation plans for children in the program. Counselors will also complete home or community-Based visits, provide individualized support, coordinate transportation for activities, and ensure accurate documentation.

Candidates need knowledge of common childhood psychiatric diagnoses symptoms and the ability to write and implement individual rehabilitation plans creatively. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree or 30 college credit hours in a human services field, or a high school diploma/Ged with at least one year of direct service experience with children with mental health diagnoses, along with a valid maryland driver's license.
