2026-27 Secondary Social Studies Teacher

This individual will ensure students receive world-Class instruction in social studies, utilizing data to guide and differentiate teaching methods effectively. Teachers must also build inclusive, nurturing classrooms and foster strong relationships with students and parents.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education or a social science field like history or political science, along with experience working with middle and high school students. Preferred qualifications include a valid michigan teaching certificate with a secondary social studies endorsement.
