Child Care Lead Teacher (Infants, Pre-Tods & Preschool)

This role involves assisting in providing a nurturing learning environment using developmentally appropriate practices, focusing on the health and safety of children while mentoring childcare assistants. Key duties include completing ongoing child assessments, developing lesson plans based on the elm curriculum, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess an associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree in early childhood education or a related field, or a child development associate (Cda) plus 12 months of relevant experience, meeting all virginia state licensing requirements. Applicants must also pass extensive background checks and demonstrate basic knowledge of ms office and childcare management software.
