PreK Assistant Teacher

The prek assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons, facilitating small-Group instruction in foundational skills, and monitoring student progress to ensure all children meet learning goals. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, structured classroom culture, reinforcing behavioral expectations, and assisting with daily routines including hygiene and self-Care.

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to eliminating the opportunity gap and a passion for working with young children, supporting their academic and social-Emotional growth. Experience in a classroom or youth development setting is strongly preferred, and while a bachelor's degree is preferred, the role is designed for individuals interested in gaining classroom experience and pursuing further growth in education.
