Core responsibilities

The youth leader supports the site director by engaging with youth in a nurturing childcare setting, delivering engaging curriculum for before/After school programs and day camps, and supervising children in purposeful programming. This role also involves promoting and modeling relationship building with youth, parents, and the ymca community while teaching core ymca values.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must register in the merit system, apply for background clearance/Fingerprints, and complete required trainings upon job offer, including 10 stars hours annually. Previous experience working with children is preferred, along with the ability to develop positive relationships and a commitment to inclusion and ada compliance.
