Swim Instructor - Valley

The swim instructor is responsible for planning and teaching swim lessons according to ymca policies, adapting activities based on swimmer ability, and enforcing all safety rules and regulations for the aquatic facility and equipment. This role also involves monitoring participant progress, providing feedback to participants and families, tracking attendance, and responding to emergency situations in accordance with protocol.

Candidates must be at least 15 years of age and possess great communication and listening skills to interact effectively with staff and members. Preferred qualifications include ymca swim lesson instructor certification, and all hires must complete required ymca training upon employment.
