Resource Teacher

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while supporting each child’s social and emotional development. Resource teachers must also establish positive and effective family relations and work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the entire faculty.

Candidates must show empathy and compassion for young children, be dependable, adaptable, and enjoy working toward a common goal. Applicants must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs for child handling and safety purposes, with specific lifting requirements for infant teachers.
