Part-time Faculty, Master of Nursing - Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The faculty member will efficiently deliver didactic and/Or clinical instruction online, planning and executing an effective zoom classroom experience to meet course objectives and prepare students to be competent nurse practitioners. Essential duties include effectively engaging students using various methods, evaluating students in classroom and clinical settings, and providing timely feedback on assignments and inquiries.

Required qualifications include a master of science in nursing with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specialization or a doctor of nurse practitioner with the same specialization, along with an active, unencumbered pmhnp state license in either texas or california. Candidates must also possess a minimum of two years of current experience in a pmhnp role, including diagnosing and treating patients in a clinic setting, and hold national board certification as a pmhnp.
