Sports Program Specialist

The sports program specialist organizes and executes all activities for enrolled participants, ensuring safety, providing a positive environment, and acting as a role model. This role also involves instructing participants on rules, reporting incidents, maintaining orderly facilities, and potentially officiating youth sports games.

Candidates must have prior experience working with children and adults, possess knowledge of game rules, and have experience playing or officiating sports, including completion of referee training if necessary. Successful completion of a florida criminal history background check is mandatory for employment.
