Summer Camp Counselor - Itasca

The counselor will work under director guidance to impact children's lives by providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and scheduling program offerings, determining field trips, and ensuring constant safety and supervision of children.

Candidates must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged and must pass required state and company background checks. Professional experience in child care or preschool settings and a degree in early education are preferred, but demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (Dap) is required.
