The youth leader is responsible for the supervision, development, and implementation of academic, enrichment, and social-Emotional well-Being for groups of 10-20 youth in the after-School program. This includes assisting students with academic skills, meeting performance goals, and collaborating with school site personnel to meet grant objectives.

Requirements summary

Applicants must be at least one year removed from high school graduation and three years removed from graduation from the specific suhsd school they are applying to, though an aa or ba is highly desirable. A minimum of one year working with youth is highly desirable, along with the ability to lead activities, monitor behavior, and maintain a warm, friendly, and sensitive personality.
