Pediatric Occupational Therapist

The occupational therapist delivers excellent family-Centered patient care focused on supporting functional goals through assessments, interpreting evaluations, and implementing treatment plans in consultation with physicians. Responsibilities include administering manual exercises, instructing patients in physical activities like functional skills and sensory activities, directing treatments given by aides, and completing necessary discharge planning and documentation.

Candidates must be licensed as a certified occupational therapist in the state of california and are expected to maintain 70% direct patient care, alongside mentoring and collaboration across disciplines. Experience in the pediatric setting and school-Based setting is preferred, and the role requires physical capabilities such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
