26-27 Self- Contained Special Education Teacher

The teacher will develop and implement individualized instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities, focusing on functional academics, communication, and life skills, while collaborating closely with paraeducators and service providers. Responsibilities also include monitoring student progress toward iep goals, documenting outcomes, and maintaining compliance with special education laws.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and preferably have 2+ years of experience working with students who have significant cognitive, developmental, or communication needs. A strong belief in equitable education for all scholars and demonstrated success using specialized teaching strategies are essential mindset requirements.
