Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant will support education faculty by assisting with student learning in the classroom and providing supervision and safety within both educational and residential settings. Primary duties include providing direct educational assistance, carrying out lesson plans in the teacher's absence, and monitoring student behavior and safety.

Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license meeting state and home office requirements, and must have or obtain the isbe paraprofessional educator endorsement (Els para) upon hire before the start date. Previous classroom support experience is preferred.
