Summer Nurse Externship - Bronson Healthcare - Full-time

The nurse extern works under the direct supervision of an rn preceptor to implement patient care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process. Responsibilities include documenting patient needs, developing care plans, taking vital signs, administering prescribed treatments, and managing discharge planning.

Applicants must be full-Time nursing students within one year of graduation (Winter 2026 or spring 2027 expected graduation) and reside in southwest michigan for the 12-Week minimum program duration. Candidates must also be able to work 36 hours per week, including nights and weekends, and complete all required orientation shifts.
