Tia Chi Instructor - Lincoln

The instructor is responsible for designing and preparing tai chi class routines adhering to safety guidelines and ymca standards, while also ensuring high levels of member engagement and support during classes. Key duties include maintaining class attendance, keeping the exercise area clean, recording attendance, and adhering to all ymca policies and procedures.

Candidates must possess a personal commitment to the ymca's mission and hold either a ymca instructor certification or certification from another nationally recognized aerobic/Fitness organization. Essential requirements include current cpr, first aid, aed, and oxygen certifications, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills to positively engage with staff and members.
