Assistant Coach - Rock Steady Boxing

The assistant coach will support the delivery of rock steady boxing classes, ensuring fidelity to the curriculum while fostering a safe, encouraging, and non-Competitive environment for participants. Responsibilities include preparing for sessions, encouraging group interaction, supporting participant goal-Setting, and maintaining participant commitment.

Candidates must commit to the ymca's mission and possess strong skills in communication, organization, and relationship building, along with empathy and cultural competency. Familiarity with motivational interviewing is encouraged, and completion of the required rock steady boxing assistant coach training is necessary.
