Coach - Rock Steady Boxing

The coach is responsible for delivering rock steady boxing classes effectively, encouraging group participation, and cultivating participant commitment while maintaining fidelity to the curriculum. This includes preparing for each session, traveling to community locations, and ensuring a safe, non-Competitive environment for participants.

Candidates must commit to the ymca's mission and possess strong skills in communication, organization, and relationship building, along with empathy for health seekers and comfort with data. Eligibility for coach training requires holding a medical professional license, an ncca-Accredited fitness certification, or a degree in an exercise science-Related field.
