Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will be responsible for completing necessary student assessments, evaluation reports, and iep progress reports within established timelines. This role also involves collaborating with iep team members, often serving as the case manager, and maintaining direct service logs for all assigned students.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree meeting colorado department of education qualifications and must have or be in the process of obtaining a colorado teacher license or an interim license through an alternative program. A strong background in instructional and behavioral intervention strategies is required, along with obtaining the read act designation within the first three months if not already completed.
