Middle School History Teacher

The teacher will manage a 10-Period day including four history classes, one study hall, and one elective, while being responsible for maintaining detailed student records and performing assigned duties like traffic duty or detention. They must also integrate character into lessons and commit to consistent teaching methods with the history faculty team.

Candidates must demonstrate subject matter competency in history through endorsement, a relevant degree, passing a colorado content test, or completing 24 semester hours in the field, while committing to using direct instruction methodologies. Although an education degree or prior experience is not required, candidates must be highly qualified and willing to adhere to consistent teaching standards and exhibit high character traits.
